Through the Atlas Mountains of Morocco outside of Ouarzazate sits a small rural Berber women's cooperative consisting of over 40 women hand looming rugs.  It is common for weavers to work on traditional, two-person handlooms for weeks on end to produce just one single piece. 

Each rug is a unique, one of a kind item of true craftsmanship.  One end usually has fringe while the other is bound with whatever materials are around, which add great character.
