While we have seen the traditional Moroccan rug before with natural wool and black criss cross, we had never seen a polka dot rug, until now!  This one of a kind natural hand loomed polka dot rug is a must have!

Through the Atlas Mountains of Morocco outside of Ouarzazate sits a small rural Berber women's cooperative consisting of over 40 women hand looming rugs.  It is common for weavers to work on traditional, two-person handlooms for weeks on end to produce just one single piece. 

Each rug is a unique, one of a kind item of true craftsmanship.  One end usually has fringe while the other is bound with whatever materials are around, which add great character. Due to the handmade nature of these rugs using local materials there may be slight variations in color and/or craftsmanship. The rug you receive will be this exact rug.
