This SAGE is grown in the mountains of California on private land, handled with care by trained workers, and delicately made into bundles after harvesting. The workers carefully choose only the top stalk of the plant to ensure its growth, showing respect for the plant. When the sage is harvested, tiny fragments of the plant fall to the ground, giving life to new sage plants.
