DESCRIPTION

Tarot just got a whole lot more colorful. This lighthearted deck and guidebook by David A. Ross, beautifully illustrated by Carolina Martínez, brings the spirit of sugar skulls to a fresh take on every card in the Major and Minor Arcana, helping you tune in and trust your intuition.

Sugar skulls, or calaveras, are traditionally handmade for Día de Muertos, the Mexican celebration honoring loved ones who have passed into the spirit realm. Bright and lovingly crafted, they're placed on ofrendas as offerings of remembrance. In this deck, they show up as reminders of your own spiritual journey and the potential waiting inside you.

Just as the Fool travels through the Major Arcana, each of us is on a path the tarot helps reflect. You'll find the Magician hitting a sugar skull bullseye, the High Priestess discovering her inner truth reflected in the water, and the Fool stepping forward with the confidence to create and manifest. It's a playful, heartfelt way to deepen your practice, whether you're pulling your very first card or adding to a growing collection.
